What you will do

• Develop backend architecture and production delivery for 3D AutoReview features.
• Experiment with geometry parsing, quality detection, and context generation for 3D models.
• Collaborate with ML teams to integrate intelligence into the 3D review process.
• Build extensible systems for custom rule creation and reference data in 3D AutoReview.
• Partner with frontend and product teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Establish and maintain high technical standards across the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in product or platform teams.
• Strong proficiency in 3D math and experience with CAD kernels (HOOPS, OpenCascade, Parasolid), Robotics, or 3D simulations.
• Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs using SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
• Practical knowledge of ML/AI/LLM productionalization, including PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LLM APIs.
• Must be based in North America.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, loosely scoped technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD modeling software like SolidWorks, Creo, or OnShape.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts.
