What you will do

• Define and evolve the Agent/Skill/Tool architecture to enable reasoning, planning, and collaboration across AI features.
• Architect retrieval and knowledge systems to scale the context graph using millions of work orders and equipment manuals.
• Develop the developer experience, including agent orchestration, MCP tool registries, and observability layers.
• Design offline and online evaluation systems to create a continuous feedback loop for agent performance.
• Drive cross-division alignment on AI platform strategy, partnering with multiple product engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems or distributed architecture.
• 3+ years of production experience building ML or LLM-powered systems with a focus on evaluation and reliability.
• Proven track record of technical leadership at the Principal level, influencing strategy across multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in Python backend, API design, and data pipelines.
• Experience treating developer experience (documentation, enablement) as a first-class product.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent orchestration, tool use, and skill registries.
• Proficiency with MCP, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or observability platforms like Langfuse and LangSmith.
• Knowledge of RAG pipelines, vector databases, and knowledge graphs at scale.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, industrial software, or IoT/OT domains.
