What you will do

• Act as the Technical Lead for specific equipment scopes, managing inspection and technical reviews for nuclear systems.
• Review and approve technical specifications and mark up quality plans for standard and non-standard equipment.
• Create and update intervention plans, tracking inspections, and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Non-Conformance Advisories (NANs).
• Supervise surveyors and inspectors, monitoring activities and coordinating resource requirements.
• Conduct physical inspections of major, intermediate, and minor assemblies at manufacturer and site locations.
• Witness commissioning and acceptance trials and issue final release certifications and Certificates of Conformity (CoC).

Requirements

• Proven experience in nuclear equipment surveying or inspection.
• Ability to lead technical scopes and chair kick-off and pre-inspection meetings.
• Expertise in reviewing technical documentation and quality plans.
• Experience in supervising technical teams and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Commitment to maintaining a world-class safety culture.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Birmingham, UK
