What you will do

• Lead end-to-end software projects from architecture to delivery and long-term ownership.
• Architect and build a next-generation internal platform for engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AWS services.
• Partner with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive cloud cost efficiency.
• Design and implement systems to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion a culture of platform efficiency and technical excellence.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or PHP.
• Proven track record of managing infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with distributed systems.

Nice to have

• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven history of driving significant cloud cost reductions at scale.
• Expertise in operating high-volume distributed systems.
