DevSecOps Engineer (GCP)

TL;DR

DevSecOps Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes): Building a next-generation Air Force aircraft maintenance platform with an accent on automation and security within a high compliance environment. Location: Remote within the continental United States. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoW Secret clearance or eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage GCP resources.
• Integrate security controls and DevSecOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
• Manage cloud security controls, identity management, access policies, and vulnerability remediation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoW Secret clearance or eligibility.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency with Terraform and Linux-based (Red Hat) systems.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and cloud networking concepts.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional certifications (Cloud DevOps or Cloud Security Engineer).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Memcached, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with API management platforms, specifically Apigee.
• Experience in DoD environments and familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53, or STIGs.
