What you will do

• Provide post-sales technical support for Arista Datacenter and Campus products and solutions.
• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email to resolve installation, operation, and compatibility concerns.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software applications to recommend corrective actions.
• Recreate customer network issues in a dedicated lab environment.
• Document recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development.
• Interact cross-functionally with internal hardware, software, and sales teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency with TCP/IP and core networking protocols (ARP, BGP, DHCP, ICMP, IGMP, IPv4/IPv6, LACP, LLDP, OSPF, PIM, QOS, RIP, Sflow, SNMP, STP).
• Experience with server virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Skill in using networking troubleshooting tools including Wireshark, tcpdump, and IXIA.
• Programming or scripting proficiency in Python, C++, Java, Perl, JavaScript, or Shell.
• Knowledge of Linux OS navigation and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• BS degree in a technical field, preferably in Computer Science or Networking.
