Network Engineer (Firewall/Proxy)

What you will do

• Lead team’s daily health checks and consolidate status reports.
• Receive, validate, and implement firewall opening requests per security framework and change-control process.
• Serve as primary contact for L1 support tickets, diagnose incidents, assess network involvement, and escalate complex cases.
• Develop, harden, and evolve firewall/proxy infrastructure in partnership with the team.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network and security incidents.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in firewall and proxy systems (e.g., Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check-Point, Squid).
• Strong understanding of datacenter fabric architectures and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EVPN).
• Demonstrated experience supporting L1/L2 network incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
