What you will do

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure including Starlink, Meraki, Palo Alto firewalls, and AWS VPC/Transit Gateway.
• Serve as a technical architect for engineering teams, assisting with network design in microservices and Kubernetes environments.
• Configure, harden, and patch network devices according to security best practices.
• Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents to ensure system integrity.
• Mentor service desk technicians and act as the primary escalation point for network issues.
• Collaborate with systems engineering colleagues on Windows and Linux server administration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing on-prem and cloud network environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of enterprise protocols including IPSec, VPN, DNS, SNMP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Proven experience in network design and troubleshooting within AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of network security requirements and incident response.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for business needs.
• Mid-level proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.

• Cisco CCNP certification.
• Palo Alto PCNSE or PCNSA certification.
• Network+ certification.
