What you will do

• Execute and develop comprehensive functional testing of high-bandwidth Ethernet switching silicon systems to verify behavior and performance.
• Drive the debug of complex switching silicon and system platforms, specifically addressing Layer-1 issues, SerDes, and signal integrity.
• Collaborate with software developers, hardware design engineers, and architects to accelerate root-cause identification of system-level issues.
• Enhance existing validation flows and efficiency by utilizing modern automation tools and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in system validation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# for automation and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes and equalization techniques.
• 5+ years of experience with High Speed IO testing, debugging, and validation.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of L1/L2 Ethernet layers and standards.
• Knowledge of Memory, PCIe, and Ethernet systems interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, BERT analyzers, and TDR/VNA.
• Familiarity with board CAD tools including Cadence and Allegro.
