What you will do

• Execute and develop comprehensive functional testing of high-bandwidth Ethernet switching silicon systems to verify adherence to specifications.
• Debug complex switching silicon and system platforms, emphasizing Layer-1 issues, signal integrity, and link stability.
• Validate SerDes and analog front-end behavior to ensure performance across all defined conditions.
• Collaborate with software developers, hardware design engineers, and architects to identify and resolve system-level root causes.
• Implement modern automation tools and validation methodologies to improve efficiency and validation flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical validation or related hardware testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for automation and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes and equalization techniques.
• Proven experience in high-speed IO testing and debugging.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled information as defined by U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of L1/L2 Ethernet layers and standards.
• Knowledge of PCIe, Memory, and Ethernet system interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment including high-speed oscilloscopes, BERT analyzers, and TDR/VNA.
• Familiarity with board CAD tools such as Cadence and Allegro.
