What you will do

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing plant and production equipment.
• Support the installation of new equipment and manage process layout changes.
• Maintain workshop areas and manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and maintain key systems including dust extraction, LEV, and compressed air.
• Investigate equipment improvements and implement modifications to enhance safety and quality.
• Manage contractors during maintenance and repair tasks, including site inductions.

Requirements

• Formal qualification in Electromechanical engineering or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds).
• Strong experience in both reactive and proactive maintenance.
• Proven experience in process improvement and lean techniques.
• Solid knowledge of 3-phase equipment and industrial machinery.
• Competency with business processes, electronic systems, and IT packages.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Melksham, UK.

Nice to have

• Wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2382 certification.
• Knowledge of LOLER, work at height, and PUWER regulations.
• Experience with 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
