Desktop Support Engineer I

Salary: $33.55–$55.96 per hour

What you will do

• Provide Level I hardware support, including repairs and replacements for peripherals and accessories.
• Image computers for new hires and coordinate workstation relocations during department moves.
• Resolve technical problems deskside that cannot be fixed remotely.
• Maintain accurate records in the hardware asset tracking system and update procedural documentation.
• Assist with hardware refreshes and other physical technology upgrades.

Requirements

• Previous experience troubleshooting and supporting both Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Ability to address hardware failures and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Consistency in meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) for staff requests.
• Willingness to learn new technical processes and inventory tools.
