Software Engineer (Product Security)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Product Security): Securing and scaling next-generation semiconductor test systems with an accent on designing security controls, improving build and release infrastructure, and embedding security best practices. Focus on threat modeling, implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, and mitigating product security risks.

Location: On-site 4-5 days per week in Deer Park, Illinois. Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary: $100,100 - $160,100

What you will do

• Own and drive product security initiatives, including threat modeling, security testing, and risk mitigation.
• Integrate security best practices across the full software development lifecycle.
• Review designs and code with a focus on security, quality, and reliability.
• Design and implement secure build, test, and release pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation tools for builds, testing, and documentation.
• Partner with security engineers to continuously improve product security maturity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product security, DevOps, or software development.
• Hands-on experience with static analysis, penetration testing, and software composition analysis.
• Strong development experience in C, C++, C#, and .NET.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and modern CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages.
