What you will do

• Lead the buildout of advanced release pipelines featuring merge queues, feature-flag tooling, and per-domain release gates.
• Own the cloud platform including Pulumi modules, AWS account structure, identity, and networking.
• Drive the security and compliance posture, including SOC 1/2 readiness and Vanta remediation.
• Evolve the network's reliability posture through observability, SLOs, and improved on-call practices.
• Partner with product engineering pods to ship abstractions that reduce platform drag and increase safety.
• Cultivate operational excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and design discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure, platform, or reliability.
• Deep fluency with AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi, Terraform), and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with modern observability stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• A strong security mindset with knowledge of secrets management, key rotation, and least-privilege access.
• Ability to own systems end-to-end, from IaC provisioning to recovery runbooks.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both non-engineers and executives.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOC 2 frameworks and compliance tooling such as Vanta.
