Lead DevOps Automation Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead DevOps Automation Engineer (DevOps/Fintech): Designing and delivering solutions to enhance developer productivity and automate security and governance controls with an accent on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code. Focus on architecting scalable SDLC pipelines, managing containerized environments, and driving continuous improvement of enterprise platform capabilities.

Location: Hybrid in Arlington, TX (onsite 2 days a week/3 days remote)

What you will do

• Architect, implement, and deploy enterprise-wide CI/CD pipelines for software and infrastructure delivery.
• Develop and maintain tools for SDLC pipelines and configuration management to boost developer productivity.
• Automate security and governance controls across the enterprise.
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Lead technical strategies and communicate implementation status to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and facilitate critical incident response and escalation.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience with automation technologies, including at least 2 years with containers or orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Proficiency with IaC and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Chef.
• Strong scripting and automation experience in Python, Go, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing) and API standards (REST, JSON, OAuth).
• Must be based in or able to work from the Arlington, TX office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• 3-5 years of experience specifically with modern SDLC automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
