Salary: $131,750–$162,750 (base pay range for new hires in the US).

What you will do

• Manage and improve Linux-based infrastructure with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Develop system-level software, middleware, and APIs to support internal platforms.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Python, Bash, and configuration management tools like SaltStack.
• Collaborate with SRE, Development, and Security teams to ensure secure CI/CD and platform integration.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues involving the OS, network, or container runtime.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes platform engineering, specifically with bare-metal or on-premises environments.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux internals, kernel tuning, and performance diagnostics.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Must be able to work on-site four days per week in one of the designated office locations.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as RHCE or LFCE.
• Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
• Background in security compliance (CIS benchmarks, STIGs).
• Prior experience in highly regulated or low-latency environments.
