Salary: $113,000–$145,000 CAD

What you will do

• Produce timely, data-driven stories and analyses for media, partners, and customers.
• Develop rapid-response insights within 24–48 hours of breaking news events.
• Create algorithms and predictive models to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct causality experiments using A/B testing or epidemiological approaches.
• Collaborate with Strategic Communications, PR, and Product Analytics teams.
• Design and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, and dashboards for business decision-making.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in complex SQL queries and Python programming.
• Proven track record of translating complex analyses into compelling stories for non-technical audiences.
• Experience integrating and validating insights from multiple connected data sources.
• Strong project management skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Oakville, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery or similar Big Data infrastructure.
• Background in communications, marketing, or PR data collaboration.
• Domain expertise in commercial transportation or fleet intelligence.
