What you will do

• Lead, build, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists focused on the Marketing & Business Development domain.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape the strategic roadmap through actionable insights.
• Develop and deploy Incremental/Predictive LTV models to quantify the true lift of marketing spend.
• Establish measurement frameworks and causal inference methods to evaluate brand initiatives and ROI.
• Oversee data quality, including ETLs, reporting dashboards, and data aggregations for business tracking and ML models.
• Drive the adoption of analytics self-serve capabilities for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience as a people manager, leading teams of up to 10 data scientists.
• Proven track record of driving product strategy and roadmaps through analytics for consumer technology or marketplaces.
• Expertise in causal inference, A/B testing experimentation, and metric governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for hands-on analysis.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve team productivity and code quality.
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada.
