Salary: $90,000–$140,000 CAD

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the MLOps squad, influencing architecture and standards across the Analytics Platform.
• Design and evolve production-grade MLOps and ML platform capabilities, including CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.
• Spend 60% of time hands-on building high-quality services, frameworks, and APIs for ML and GenAI.
• Act as a technical authority for AWS-based ML platforms, guiding the adoption of new cloud and GenAI services.
• Partner with Architecture, Security, and Risk teams to reduce delivery and model governance risks.
• Mentor senior and intermediate engineers to raise the overall technical bar.

Requirements

• Deep software engineering background with extensive experience in large-scale production systems.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Practical experience with MLOps, ModelOps, or LLMOps in enterprise environments.
• Must obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance prior to start date.
• Ability to operate at a lead scope, influencing architecture across multiple teams.
