Salary: CAD $140,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Extend industry-leading modules for object detection, stereo depth estimation, and 6D pose estimation.
• Integrate foundation models into the perception stack to enhance generalization and zero-shot capabilities.
• Collaborate with C++ application teams to optimize model deployment and user experiences.
• Manage data training pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
• Optimize models for real-time edge deployment on NVIDIA GPUs to support high-accuracy robot guidance.
• Own projects end-to-end from literature review and prototyping to production implementation.

Requirements

• Must be based in Vancouver, BC for in-person work.
• STEM bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in deep learning for computer vision.
• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in PyTorch for production training and deployment.
• Ability to engineer for industrial reliability of 99.9%.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD degree with a focus on computer vision and machine learning.
• Experience in 3D geometry, graphics, and deep learning.
