What you will do

• Engage with school district leaders and educators to determine data analytics needs and provide guidance on dashboard interpretation.
• Design and develop customized metrics and data visualization dashboards.
• Utilize SQL for database management and complex queries to ensure accessible data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and data quality issues to maintain reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product teams to enhance the overall data platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role.
• Must be based in the US.
• Advanced SQL skills and professional experience with data visualization tools.
• Direct experience working with educational data and familiarity with K-12 schools.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into digestible and actionable information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.
• Experience with K12 Student Information Systems such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries.
