What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models to forecast key business indicators like loss rates and approval rates.
• Build robust models for portfolio KPI forecasting across daily, weekly, and monthly horizons.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and evaluate A/B tests and quasi-experiments.
• Perform feature engineering using raw transactional and behavioral data to improve model interpretability.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to detect anomalies and identify shifts in model performance.
• Partner with Risk, Product, and Data Engineering teams to align methodologies with business goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying predictive models in production, ideally in financial services.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Advanced skills in Python or R for data science tasks.
• Proven ability to build and tune models using libraries like scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) for effective communication in an international team.
• Deep understanding of statistical concepts applied to risk modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial risk areas.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with workflow managers such as Airflow.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like AWS or GCP.
