What you will do

• Develop and maintain predictive models for pricing, demand forecasting, and network dynamics.
• Build and scale the data science function, including hiring and managing direct reports.
• Design and execute statistical experiments, including A/B testing and causal analysis.
• Create optimization models to inform routing, capacity allocation, and pricing strategies.
• Lead signal development to transform raw transactional data into reliable market indicators.
• Establish model validation, performance monitoring, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in data science or applied statistics.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Proven ability to build models supporting decision-making and market intelligence.
• Experience with model validation and governance in production environments.
• Ability to communicate quantitative insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with transportation, logistics, or supply chain data.
• Expertise in regression, tree-based models, and time series forecasting.
• 2 years of leadership or people-management experience.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and data pipelines like Snowflake, AWS, or Sagemaker.
