Salary: €5,876 - €8,395 per month

What you will do

• Design and evaluate advanced analytics and AI models to optimize business lending decision processes.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into explainable, AI-driven decision solutions.
• Govern analytical models through rigorous validation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with risk, product, and technology stakeholders as a subject matter expert on credit risk and AI.
• Mentor and act as a sparring partner for junior data scientists within the team.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline (Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science).
• 7+ years of experience in advanced analytics or data science, preferably within the financial industry.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python and frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, and MLflow.
• Strong understanding of business lending, credit risk, and decisioning processes.
• Must be located in the Netherlands.
• Experience with AI governance and model risk management in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Agentic AI architectures, autonomous workflows, or AI orchestration frameworks.
