Salary: 65,000 - 105,000 CAD

What you will do

• Implement routine and complex technical fixes on Windows Servers.
• Act as an escalation point and subject matter expert for technical team resources.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and repair issues to maintain the stability and reliability of Wintel server environments.
• Take ownership of server builds, incidents, and client requests.
• Provide lead technical consultancy to configure and continuously improve server and system performance.
• Manage approved changes following incident, problem, and change management processes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant IT experience in an infrastructure support role.
• Proficiency with MS Windows 2022 and 2025, MS Cluster Services, HA, DFS, FTP, and File/Print Sharing.
• Experience with security patching and file server migration.
• Computer Science degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to obtain Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation approximately every 6 weeks.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCCM, Crowdstrike, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Dell Open Manage Enterprise and MS Security Patching/Vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with ESX VMWare, VROps, Cloud Computing, or MS HyperV.
• Familiarity with Lenovo SR650 and Dell R760 server hardware and data center environments.
