What you will do

• Design and architect flexible, reusable, and optimized UI systems for the game.
• Define and maintain performance and memory budgets for the UI subsystem.
• Lead and implement complex screens and flows, ranging from in-game HUDs to various gameplay UI screens.
• Collaborate with UI/UX/VFX designers and direction to set the highest quality standards.
• Test, debug, and optimize code to ensure high quality standards.
• Maintain code quality through mentoring, collaboration, and code review processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a programmer within the gaming industry.
• 4+ years of game development using Unity3D.
• 2+ years of UI development using UGUI and/or NGUI.
• Proficiency in design patterns and OOP using C#.
• Experience developing UI with consideration for performance, memory allocation, lifecycle, and localization.
• Shipped at least one game on PC using Unity3d, Unreal, or proprietary engines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or later.
• Experience with UMG or MVVM framework.
