Salary: $136,000—$172,000 USD

What you will do

• Maintain and extend core AI and character systems.
• Author AI behaviors for in-game characters.
• Collaborate with the design team to create playable spaces conducive to AI interaction.
• Tune and revise character behavior based on design goals and playtest feedback.
• Profile and optimize code to meet strict memory and CPU budgets.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Solid understanding of game AI (navigation, behavior, etc.).
• Experience with at least one shipped game.
• Strong math skills.
• Must be based in North America for remote roles.
• Ability to work iteratively with designers in a collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Previous work on Multiplayer Action Games or FPS titles.
• Experience shipping a console game.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
