C++ Programmer (Gamedev)

Location: Must be currently located in British Columbia (BC), Canada (ideally within the greater Vancouver area)

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 CAD

What you will do

• Produce high-quality, efficient, clean, and modular code.
• Creatively resolve game technology production issues.
• Meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Proactively identify and tackle tasks/problems outside of scheduled work.
• Provide and accept feedback on code quality, including performance, readability, testability, and design.

Requirements

• 2+ years of C++ experience as a Programmer in the game industry or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Must be located in BC, Canada.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong self-motivation and proven ability to tackle hard problems in creative ways.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping games in the gaming industry.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, or Unity.
• Experience with Mobile (iOS, Android) or Console (Xbox One, PS4) programming.
• Working knowledge of C#.
