What you will do
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to iterate and polish AI Systems and Archetypes.
- Support the development of architecture and implementation within the AI domain.
- Implement and maintain AI behavior trees and associated systems.
- Test AI Systems and Archetypes, reporting on performance and memory budgets.
- Improve combat design-facing authoring and encounter scripting tools.
- Maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in AI for video games programming.
- Professional experience using Unreal Engine for scripting basic AI Systems.
- Proficiency with UE5 AI Debugging Tools and Rewind Debugger.
- Strong knowledge of 3D math and C++.
- Previous experience developing for current-gen AAA consoles.
- Proficiency in English and French (for Quebec-based candidates).
