What you will do

  • Lead the Data Visualizations Explorations team, setting product direction and staffing key projects.
  • Coach and develop software engineers across various seniority levels.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for project management, code reviews, and architecture patterns.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Design to deliver intuitive, performant data experiences.
  • Manage operational practices, including bug triage, incident response, and telemetry analysis for widgets.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of people management experience in a software engineering environment.
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable, and empathetic feedback.
  • Product-oriented mindset with a focus on iterative delivery and solving customer problems.
  • Passion for building intuitive and high-performance user interfaces for data visualization.

Nice to have

  • Active participation in the data visualization or software engineering community via talks, blogs, or open source.
