Engineer (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Execute machine design and drafting activities primarily for spare parts and shop engineering needs.
• Create and modify production drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks while meeting strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with shop floor personnel, engineering, sales, and field service teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical support for field measurements and perform onsite data collection.
• Travel to customer sites (20–30%) for installation support and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all engineering tasks comply with federal, state, and internal standards and HSE policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Machine Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in design, layout, or 3D modeling roles.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks for production drawings.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Not eligible for international relocation.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry, particularly with wood handling equipment (chippers, debarking drums, conveyors).
• Experience in machine shop-related engineering.
