Salary: $140,000 to $220,000

What you will do

• Design and build production AI systems including agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered workflows that integrate into hirify.global's analytics platform.
• Translate product requirements into technical designs balancing model capabilities, latency, cost, and reliability.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure quality, safety, and regressions for LLM features.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of AI features with prompt engineering, tool design, testing, evaluations, and stakeholder communication.
• Build application layers around foundation models: orchestration, memory, retrieval, guardrails, observability, and human-in-the-loop.
• Optimize inference performance, throughput, and cost; fine-tune models when needed.

Requirements

• 7+ years software engineering experience with 1+ years building LLM-powered applications
• Hands-on with LLM features: prompt/context engineering, tool calling, agentic workflows, evaluation.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript; experience with AI SDKs/frameworks (Anthropic, OpenAI, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph).
• Knowledge of foundation models, RAG, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
• Experience with evaluation pipelines, A/B tests, metrics.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
