What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops to synthesize current-state architecture and define target-state options with clear trade-offs.
• Own the architecture narrative with client executives, steering forums, and enterprise architects.
• Integrate architectural checkpoints into the SDLC, aligning with Agile or waterfall delivery models.
• Partner with engineering leads to ensure architectural choices remain implementable and verifiable throughout the lifecycle.
• Define operational acceptance criteria, including monitoring for LLM paths and incident management hooks.
• Manage engagement-scoped risks, governance, and security/compliance friction.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience leading architecture on enterprise consulting or transformation programs.
• Proven ability to facilitate discovery with ambiguous sponsors and produce decision-ready architecture artifacts.
• Deep credibility in integration, application/API architecture, data platforms, and LLM solution risk.
• Strong executive consulting presence with the ability to manage constructive tension.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience in regulated industries where legacy estates complicate IA delivery.
• Strong partnership record with engineering directors on forward-deployed programs.
• Experience bridging applications with Databricks or Snowflake-centric analytics.
