Senior Cyber Engineer (TS/SCI Required)

Location: Virginia/NCR/DC region, on-site Monday through Friday; no telework or alternate work location available. Workdays are eight hours starting between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m.; occasional weekend support may be required.

Base salary: $151,800–$187,500 USD per year, plus bonus plans and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and RHEL 8.x systems supporting hirify.global appliances in physical and virtual environments.
• Manage ESXi and Hyper-V virtual hosts, monitor appliance performance, and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and security controls using STIGs and scanning reports.
• Install firmware and maintain DellEMC and HPE servers, SANs, switches, firewalls, and related hardware.
• Monitor Kubernetes clusters with tools such as Grafana, review logs, and resolve issues proactively.
• Provide first-line customer support, collaborate with product support and development teams, maintain deployment plans, and deliver operational reports.

Requirements

• Active TS clearance with SCI, or SCI eligibility within two years of last use.
• Ability to meet U.S. ITAR or EAR work authorization requirements.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Virginia/NCR/DC; no remote work is available.
• At least one DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Qualification Program certification at IAT Level II or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience, plus 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Windows, RHEL, virtualization, networking, certificates, server hardware, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise infrastructure.
