TL;DR
Director, Client Success (Healthcare): Defining and scaling the service model for portfolio-based client segments to ensure long-term value realization and retention with an accent on operational scale and repeatable engagement models. Focus on designing scalable client journeys, leading CSM teams, and optimizing cross-functional workflows to drive internal efficiency.
Location: Remote (USA). Must be based in the United States, excluding Zone D markets (San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and San Jose).
Salary: $170,000 – $228,000 per year

What you will do
- Define and evolve the Client Success service model, including segmentation and engagement cadences for lower-ACV clients.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Client Success Managers, establishing performance standards and driving career growth.
- Ensure the team drives client adoption, value realization, and renewal readiness across a large portfolio of clients.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to improve the end-to-end client experience.
- Build and track performance metrics measuring team capacity, client engagement, and portfolio health.
- Serve as an escalation point for high-risk client situations and guide the team through resolution plans.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or client services, preferably in healthcare or SaaS.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience managing client-facing teams.
- Demonstrated success designing or scaling service models and operational frameworks in growing organizations.
- Strong ability to use data to drive prioritization, process improvement, and business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
