Salary: $221,000 – $320,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of data scientists focused on growth, discovery, incentives, and ecosystem health.
• Build and operationalize measurement foundations, including KPI frameworks, dashboards, and business review rhythms.
• Raise the quality bar for experimentation through improved test design, guardrails, and interpretation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to drive analytical strategy for major investments.
• Improve team productivity by adopting modern data tooling and AI-enabled workflows.
• Manage, coach, and hire high-performing individual contributors as the business scales.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or related quantitative fields.
• 2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading high-performing quantitative teams.
• Strong foundation in analytics, experimentation, causal reasoning, and statistical methodology.
• Experience supporting consumer product, growth, or marketplace-focused teams.
• Must live within commuting distance of New York, Seattle, San Francisco, or Los Angeles.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in marketplaces, two-sided platforms, or live/social consumer products.
• Background in ranking, recommendations, personalization, or growth experimentation.
• Experience with incentives, pricing, LTV, ads, or ecosystem economics.
• Track record of building scalable tools or methodologies beyond the immediate team.
