What you will do

• Lead the measurement strategy for user safety by defining key metrics and monitoring frameworks.
• Design and execute causal analyses to evaluate the impact and ROI of safety initiatives and product changes.
• Develop and maintain scalable models using statistical, machine learning, and GenAI methodologies.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and ML teams to shape safety strategy and product development.
• Translate complex data insights into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts to foster technical rigor and growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Ph.D. with 4+ years or M.S. with 8+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Applied Science, or Economics.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with strong statistical analysis skills.
• Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problems and deconstruct them into actionable components.
• Strong technical communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in safety, enforcement engineering, or fraud detection is highly preferred.
