Location: Must be in our San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 + benefits

What you will do
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Customer Success, Professional Learning, Research, and Marketing teams to understand reporting needs and prioritize requests effectively.
- Translate complex stakeholder requests into accurate, well-structured reports and visualizations that illuminate IXL usage, student growth, and overall progress.
- Develop a deep understanding of IXL's databases and proactively identify opportunities to refine and improve processes for data reporting.
- Collaborate with Engineering on intricate data requests, escalating and problem-solving effectively to deliver accurate outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, data analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., data analyst, data-driven customer success, or marketing analytics).
- Proven analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data requests into clear reports and visualizations.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a queue of requests independently and make sound decisions aligned with the team and company needs.
- Experience managing confidential customer data.
