What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day service desk operations, including ticket flow and support activities.
• Perform network configuration changes such as switch port updates and VLAN adjustments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system and application backups and patching processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support guides.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions.
• Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure alignment with standards like SOX and CMMC.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of IT experience or equivalent technical training.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. Person status required due to government contractual and export control regulations.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networking principles.
• Experience with backup systems, monitoring tools, and ITSM platforms.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell or Power Automate.
• Prior experience working in an IT service desk environment.
• Familiarity with Service Desk Plus.
