What you will do

• Own the scrape product end-to-end, focusing on response format, latency, reliability, error messages, markdown quality, and structured extraction.
• Make "just works" actually true by addressing messy web issues like JavaScript-heavy SPAs, anti-bot walls, and dynamic content.
• Obsess over the output, ensuring the markdown's structure, cleanliness, and fidelity to the source are optimized for LLM prompts.
• Ship structured extraction that developers trust, iterating on the extraction surface until developers stop writing their own post-processing.
• Dogfood relentlessly by building with the API, reading GitHub issues, Discord threads, and support tickets to understand product signal.
• Run fast product experiments, forming hypotheses, instrumenting, shipping, measuring, and deciding quickly.

Requirements

• Obsessive about developer experience, caring deeply about latency, response structure, error messages, API ergonomics, and markdown quality.
• Deep instincts for scraping and the messy web, understanding headless browser failures, anti-bot systems, and when to render JS.
• Speaks both product and engineering fluently, able to read a rendering pipeline and write API specs.
• Hands-on builder who ships code and owns features from design to deployment.
• Has a feel for what makes data LLM-ready, understanding clean context and markdown structure.
• Brings production instincts, knowing how to instrument what matters and make good latency/quality/cost tradeoffs.
