What you will do

• Drive content acquisition and submissions growth across the psychology portfolio using desk research and networking.
• Strategically develop journals from both scientific and publishing perspectives.
• Build and maintain a strong network of authors, peer reviewers, and board members.
• Represent the portfolio at conferences and through outreach at universities and research institutes.
• Contribute to editorial evaluation, peer review, and final decision-making for submitted manuscripts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a culture of trust, respect, and high performance.

Requirements

• PhD degree in psychology or a related field with an excellent research background.
• Strong understanding of scientific publishing, including commissioning and peer-review processes.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel for conferences and institute visits.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in the publishing industry is highly desired.
