What you will do

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance of radar systems and manage maintenance schedules.
• Provide on-site technical support, installation, integration, and verification of radar subsystems.
• Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and power systems.
• Support software loading and configuration for interfaces with Command and Control systems.
• Deploy internationally to support the Giraffe 1X radar fleet during trials, exercises, and operations.
• Train and mentor end users on the operation and basic maintenance of radar systems.

Requirements

• Background or strong interest in radar, electronics, or complex technical systems.
• Experience in a technical, customer-facing role with fault-finding skills in high-pressure environments.
• UK or Swedish citizenship and eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance to SC level.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overseas deployments.
• Physical and medical ability to undergo deployment-ready training.
• Computer literacy.

Nice to have

• ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline.
• Multi-skilled background with an electrical or electronic bias.
• Previous military experience.
• Experience in delivering technical or instructional training.
• Experience working on engines or motor vehicles.
