TL;DR

Customer Care Specialist (Insurance): Supporting customers experiencing financial difficulties and managing debt recovery with an accent on empathy, one-call resolution, and professional communication. Focus on investigating cases, improving internal processes, and maintaining accurate records within a hybrid work environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £28,459 per annum plus performance-based bonus

What you will do

  • Support customers facing financial vulnerability to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality customer service aiming for one-call resolution.
  • Assist with debt recovery while balancing customer and business needs.
  • Respond to client and agent queries via phone, email, and letter.
  • Investigate cases and perform root cause analysis to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and third parties to maintain professional relationships.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Must have at least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa if applicable.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable customers or those in financial difficulty via telephone.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Credit Control department experience within the Insurance Industry.
