Commercial Controller (DACH)

TL;DR

Commercial Controller (Finance): Managing performance and financial planning for the DACH and other emerging markets with an accent on sustainable growth and revenue growth management. Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands. No relocation or visa sponsorship provided.

Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning and control cycles, including budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and the 3-year business plan for DACH and other markets.
• Drive revenue growth management by analyzing pricing, promotions, and trade investment effectiveness.
• Build and maintain insights into customer and assortment profitability to enable better prioritization.
• Enhance decision-making quality through KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and structured business cases.
• Promote the use of BI and planning tools to drive insight-led performance management.
• Lead cross-market initiatives such as pricing architecture and reporting improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Business Control or Commercial Finance roles as a trusted business partner.
• Hands-on experience with P&L ownership, including sales, margin, operating expenses, and EBIT.
• Strong understanding of revenue growth management fundamentals (pricing, promotions, assortment).
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a bonus.
• Proficiency with BI and planning tools such as Power BI or Jedox.
• Must be based in or have the right to work in the Netherlands.
