TL;DR
FP&A Controller (EdTech): Executing financial strategy and improving performance across EMEA with an accent on KPI development, forecasting, and strategic reporting. Focus on analyzing business performance, supporting M&A opportunities, and integrating AI into the finance function.
Location: Hybrid (Nijkerk or Amsterdam). Must reside in the Netherlands and be legally authorized to work there; no visa sponsorship or relocation provided.
Salary: €4,500 - €5,100 per month

What you will do
- Develop and maintain KPIs and reports used for monthly reviews, forecasts, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze business performance and translate variances and external developments into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Support the CFO in analyzing new M&A opportunities and developing use cases for AI in the finance function.
- Improve transparency and consistency in financial and operational data from transaction level to consolidated EMEA level.
- Manage the forecasting process, including gap analysis and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with senior management and commercial stakeholders across multiple countries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial advisory, or business analysis.
- Must be based in the Netherlands with valid legal authorization to work.
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience with planning and forecasting processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Full professional proficiency in English (C1+).
Nice to have
- Experience with Private Equity (as an advisor or within a PE-backed business).
- Interest or experience in data architectures such as data lakes.
- Affinity for advanced analytics tools and AI.
