What you will do

• Design and implement software solutions to support fast-paced game development challenges.
• Develop production tools ranging from task management software and defect trackers to reporting and analytics applications.
• Contribute to the team's software design guidelines to ensure high quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with various Rockstar technology teams across worldwide studios.
• Learn and integrate new technologies to advance internal applications and systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong command of Java, Spring Boot ecosystem, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Proven experience designing and scaling RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of MySQL (or other major RDBMS) with query-tuning experience.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and change data capture (CDC) pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java performance profiling and debugging within Linux environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Directed Acyclic Graphs and Graph Databases.
• Experience with media processing tools like FFMPEG.
• Exposure to version control, CI/CD systems, and build automations.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and multi-tier server applications.
• Knowledge of Caching Systems, Spring Cloud, Swagger, or data warehousing like Snowflake/Apache Doris.
