What you will do

• Lead development of backend and platform modernization initiatives.
• Design, develop, and improve scalable backend services using Java.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture, preferably with GCP.
• Modernize legacy systems toward maintainable, reliable, scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, system design, code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors; mentor and conduct code reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on technical leadership in Java backend development.
• Deep knowledge of backend architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred), cloud-native practices.
• Hands-on with Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, messaging, CI/CD, containerization.
• Strong communication; ability to work independently and influence without formal authority.
