What you will do

• Manage and run PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Design and implement HA/DR architecture and persistent storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement Kubernetes security practices including RBAC, secrets management, and network policies.
• Operate within shift-based or on-call operational models.
• Collaborate across technical and business levels to ensure database stability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proven hands-on experience managing databases on Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL production environments.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC, secrets, encryption).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Porto, Portugal.
