Capture Manager (Defence): Leading and managing pursuit-to-award activities for large-scale strategic opportunities with an accent on competitive strategy, pricing, and cross-functional team leadership. Location: Must be based in Canada (Hybrid in Ottawa or remote within Canada).
Salary: $129,400 - $179,400 CAD

What you will do
- Lead multi-disciplinary matrix teams to design winning and executable solutions for large-scale pursuits.
- Develop and execute comprehensive Capture Management Plans, including competitive analysis and win themes.
- Manage capture budgets and ensure compliance with corporate governance and L2A gates.
- Design strategic communication plans to shape customer requirements and increase win probability.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to build customer relationships and influence market strategy.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on new products, partnering strategies, and business models.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the aerospace and defence industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business administration.
- Proven experience in proposal, capture, or bid management for complex B2G or B2B programs.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain NATO Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be based in Canada with the ability to travel occasionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Professional certification in proposal or capture management (e.g., APMP).
- Experience with simulation technologies or military training systems.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and contracting mechanisms.
- Proficiency in French.
