What you will do

• Design and architect scalable data solutions and high-performance data architectures.
• Build and optimize streaming and Big Data pipelines using Kafka or Kinesis.
• Implement and manage open source proprietary platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or Airflow.
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL and ELT processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools within AWS environments.
• Apply advanced data modeling methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and Data Architect.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Expertise in streaming and Big Data technologies.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud and environment.
• Deep understanding of various data modeling methodologies.
• Must be based in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Governance.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
